In BTEC Applied Psychology you will cover slightly different content such as a unit on health psychology. You are also assessed differently with two of the units being exam based and two of the units assignment based.

Yes, as with A Level Psychology you don’t need to have studied psychology before.

BTEC Nationals attract UCAS points so some students may go on to University. The skills and knowledge gained from Applied Psychology will be useful in any career involving people from education, health care, the police or business.
