'Going to work placement is my favourite part of this course, I feel like I have already bonded with the children. I look forward to placement as I can see things from a teachers perspective while still interacting with the children and engaging with them. I feel like I am treated like an actual staff member when I go there, I always have tasks and responsibilities to carry out. Work placement also means it is easier to put into action what I have been taught in lessons at school.’

'In play, a child is always above his average age, above his daily behavior; in play, it is as though he were a head taller than himself.'
